About Deborah Pauly
My dear friends and supporters,
Even though there are still many ballots to be counted, it is pretty clear that Team PAULY will not be moving forward to the November General Election. Nonetheless, I am just incredibly thankful for this experience and for each of you. You have blessed me with your friendship, faithfulness to the cause and shared passion for reclaiming our state and country.
Many of you worked very, very hard and I know the fresh sting of defeat can be demoralizing. Don’t allow this to discourage you. I felt God with us the entire time, which is why I remain steadfast and hopeful for our future. The Lord God is my strength and He can be yours, too.
We should be proud of how our campaign was conducted. We ran a clean and honorable race, sticking to the facts and issues. We were very frugal and wise, not squandering one penny on negative, “hit piece” gutter campaigning. We raised just about $45,000 — mostly on $100 donations — and executed our plans as the money was available. We were outspent 10-to-1. In the end, dirty money won out over honesty, integrity and common sense. We’ll need to keep a very close eye on the performance of our new assembly member.
Take heart in the knowledge that thousands of voters did stand with us. They, too, desire honesty, integrity and common sense from Sacramento. We will have future opportunities to work side-by-side for the causes of freedom, liberty and good government.
P.S. Please take down any PAULY yard signs that you see and put them in the recycle bin.
